LOFERER STEINBERGE

From carpark at the end valley Hochtal we enter into the forest and among many switchbacks we reach to cascade gorge Trett.  Over beautiful green field we ascent quite masochistically infinite corrie.  On top of last steps Oberes Trett it is already visible the cottage Schmidt - Zabierow hutte up on high 1966 asl.  From here it is to Ochsenhorn even long way over stone fields ( water only from snow ) and edges as far as saddle 2035 asl.  By light but amusing creep we achive the summit Gr.  Ochsenhorn, that is surprisingly small. Vista of Tauern, Wilder Kaiser, Steiners Meer and Hochkonig is covered by mist and beginning drizzle.  That is why we descend to the cottage, where we also overnight. Soon in the morning we reach the saddle Wehgrubenjoch. Now we continue over kletersteig Nackter Hund, which is the access to the top Hinterhorn. Some places on  Nackter Hund  are delicate and without becket and belaying only heavy superable.  Way is however perfectly ripe, so it cannot do problems to average mountaineer. The view  is precious on the ascendent Hinterhorn - 2506 asl. Beautiful descent over saddle Waidinger Nieder to the cottage was led over grassy footpath. From the cottage we go already the known trip to saddle - 2035 asl. and from here north descent as far as bivouac Prax Biwakschachtel - 1770 asl.  That is equiped with beds for 8 men and tea, covers, water, candles, woods, dishes, stove and so on. Descend into Hochtal next day is completed thereby, that we are in other valley. So it comes to order ignore guess of very vehement descent through the wood interlaced by somersault and scratches on body.  But in the end we stand on road and among it to carpark.
