MONTE CANIN

From saddle Sella Nevea - from hotel  we rise directty to ski slope and directly over it tedious till to a wall falling from the summit Bila Pec - 2146 asl.(above sea level). We go along the wall ( enough waters from rockery here), where the way goes to visible building at the end of a funicular. Passing nice chapel ( grateful photo-subject with Jof di Montasio in background ) to large cottage Gilberti - 1850 asl. (It was opennig, when we were leaving next day). The entrance to Winterraumu (equiped by stove, 6 beds and cover) is down on the terrace. It is open only, when the cottage is closed. We make a dash to the summit Bila Pec even the same day. The ascent is easy over the saddle Sella Bila Pec. The view of the summit is excellent especially to Jóf Di Montasio - 2753 asl., pyramid Jóf Fuart - 2666 asl. , Mangart - 2687 asl. and so on. We oversleep on the terrace of cottage Gilberti, because outside is fine and nobody wants to the dark of dungeons bivouac,  perhaps Lada wants to only.  Much bigger impression from outlooks we reach after cannabis inhalation. The way to Monte Canin is the same like the previous day to Bila Pec till the saddle Sella Bila Pec, but the next part is more difficult. We went about two hours over hard snow below the wall. We put on the irons before we start to stand up over about 45° sheer snowy ice slope to rocks. Here we did not find the entrance to ferrata Julia al Canin, that's why we voted approach over about 350 meter high nord wall.  Somewhere we need to belay each other, because the difficulty is sporadically 3.UIAA. The rock is fairly fragile and unstable here. In the wall we are caught by clouds and heavy rain. We came directly to the top cross by zero visibility. Down from the top we descent over kletersteig, which we cannot enjoy, because of storm, so we mustn't spend here more time than is neccessary. We run whiped by hail storm the long way over the glacier as far as the cottage Gilberty. The trip over the edge from Monte Canin to Pizzo di Carnizza we had to yield. We have a short rest in the cottage and than little disgusted ascent to the car to Sella Nevea.
