Calcit massif with steep slope forrming one small edge.  River Schwarza separates it in valley from range Rax. Cog-wheel railway leads to the highs 1775 asl (above sea level) from Puchberg.  In the ascendent is iron cross, cabin and transmission set.

We set out the way from cottage Weichtalhaus ( 563 asl. ) to the pass Weichtalklamm. It includes 9 successive going rocky glen broad max. 4 metres and min. 1 metre.  Giant calcit walls tower (till 100 heigh) above us. One glen is like tunel , 3 glens are easy without protection, in the rest of glens are ladders also 3 bigger rocky steps. Water flows through all these glens, which make the way little more difficult.    Over this cascade we come out for join with forest way on shiny plateau in height 1150 asl. We continue around cross as far as Kienthaler hütte  - 1380 asl. 36 meter heigh rocky wall towers above us, which is enterable by very exposed ferat (belayed rock). This we came over of course. We go over quite sheer slope through dwarf-pines from the cottage. Last 300 altitudinal meters lead very sheer over grassy, eroded slope in switchbacks in open terrain. The outlook from summit is fantastic. We can see Ennstal Alp, Vien is unfortunately covered by mist also smog. We spent 3.5 hour by descent to car the same way like up.
